Donate Materials to Lee County Libraries
Thank you for considering the library for your donations! The library resumed taking donated materials on Monday, April 5th, 2021. Please review the list below for acceptable items and bring to the main library in a box or bag.

Monetary Gifts to the Library
Lee County Libraries gratefully accepts monetary gifts from library supporters. Gifts may be submitted at the library desk or mailed to the Sanford branch in care of the Library Director.
Memorial and Honor Gifts
Lee County Libraries can be designated for memorial donations in honor of a loved one. The library will send a "thank you" to each member making a memorial donation. A culmination letter, which will include the names of those donating (unless they wish to remain anonymous), will also be sent to the immediate family.

What Happens to Donated Materials?
Donations will be accepted without stipulations and become the property of Lee County Libraries. The Library reserves the right to refuse any donation. Donations cannot be returned. All donated material will be placed under consideration according to the same selection criteria as stated in our Collection Development Policy.
If you would like a letter of acknowledgement for your donated materials the library will gratefully provide one along with a gift receipt upon request.
