BANNED & CHALLENGED BOOK READERS UNITE!
Books are banned all over the country for various reasons. The goal of a Public Library is to celebrate our freedom to read and the open access to information. We invite you to celebrate your freedom to read with others! New and returning members are always welcome. Upcoming book titles will be announced the evening of Banned Book Club to attendees. THE ORIGINAL LEE READERS BOOK CLUB!
The Lee Readers are now meeting at the library in person on the 3rd Tuesday at 4:30 PM in the auditorium of the Main Library. Book title is announced at previous meeting and available upon request at the library circulation desk or can be placed on hold through the library catalog. Join us for a fun book talk and bring your friends!

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER SELF-GUIDED BOOK CLUB
Self-guided Book Club for the busy reader! We supply the book and reader's guide, you read at your own pace (or at least until the book is due!) Each month the staff will select a New York Times Bestseller and feature it on display. Titles will be available to check out as available, or library patrons can place the title on hold.

NEW! LCL WALKING BOOK CLUB for ADULTS!
Let's get outside! This NEW LCL book club will get our blood pumping with a good book and a brisk walk! Starting in May 2024, we will meet on the 2nd an 4th Friday of the month at 9 AM at the bridge before the soft walking trail of Kiwanis Family Park located at 1800 Wicker Street (same location as the LCL Story Walk). Each month we will feature a new title, reading objective is to read the first half of the book for our first meeting and complete the book by our second meeting. See you on the trail! LCL Chapter Chasers meets on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at 9 AM at Kiwanis Family Park.
