What is next on the timeline?
Lee County Main Library Groundbreaking Ceremony on 11/22/24!
We have reached a pivotal point of our Lee County New Main Library Project; it is time to celebrate breaking ground! We wish to cordially invite you to the official LCL Groundbreaking Ceremony on Friday, November 22nd, 2024 at 10 AM. The ceremony will be on the building site located at 1740 Bragg Street in Sanford. The site is located behind the State Employee’s Credit Union and adjacent to O.T. Sloan Park. Parking and shuttle services will be available from the O.T. Sloan Park main parking lot located at 1420 Bragg St. between 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. We are grateful for the dedication, hard work, and strong community support which has made this project possible. We truly hope you are able to join us to celebrate this momentous occasion for Lee County! RSVP is not required to attend however it would be helpful in anticipating attendance and ensuring we are able to recognize you at the event.
