2025 Summer Reading: Home

The Lee County Libraries Summer Reading program is always a vibrant blend of stories and creativity! Celebrate summer with us from May 27th through August 29th. Our goal is to encourage ALL community members to show their love and support of reading each and every day throughout the year. During the summer months, you can participate in our engaging Incentive Program and other fun activities based on a yearly theme.

This year's theme is: Color Our World. Look for imagination, exploration, self-expression, connection, etc. related programs, videos and more throughout the summer. Remember, all ages are welcome to participate in the reading incentive, so be sure to sign up all of your family members, significant others and friends!

Summer Reading Incentive "How-To":

Register ONLINE Here

1. Register on ReadSquared by downloading the ReadSquared app or visit: leecountylibrary.readsquared.com to register and follow the steps.
2. Stop by the library or schedule a Curbside Pick-up with staff to pick up your Summer Reading Registration Goodie Bag(s) on or after May 27, 2025.
3. Your reading level is based on your age. Track the number of minutes you spend reading every day and earn badges. Each badge achieved earns you a prize or ticket for your chance to win one of our raffles!
4. Participants have the option of coming in to pick up their prize/raffle ticket or scheduling a curbside pick up with staff.
5. Keep reading and tracking your minutes to earn as many badges as you can until August 29th! (Please note: tickets must be redeemed before 5 PM on Saturday, August 16th, no exceptions.)
