Summer Reading 2020: Imagine Your Story!

June 8th - August 29th

The Lee County Libraries Summer Reading program is out of this world! We will be celebrating from June through August. Our goal continues this year with encouraging ALL community members to participate in our Reading Incentive and show their love of and support of reading each and every day all through the year! All ages can track their minutes read every day and earn prizes! Here's how:

  1. We will be doing our Summer Reading Incentive "curbside" until after we re-open.
  2. Print and fill out the Summer Reading Incentive Registration form (below) for each participant. You may also call us to register over the phone.
  3. Schedule a Curbside Pick-up with staff to drop off your form(s) and pick up your Summer Reading Incentive Bag(s).
  4. Your reading log is based on your age. Track the number of minutes you spend reading every day on your tracker or read books to earn squares on the LCL Reading BINGO sheet.
  5. Your Summer Reading Incentive Bag will include 2 reading logs and a BINGO sheet. (Logs and BINGO can also be printed from our website - see below).
  6. Participants have the option of either scheduling curbside pick up or waiting until we reopen to get their prizes/raffle tickets. Further instructions will be in the summer reading incentive bags.
  7. Print or request new reading logs and do it all over again until August 29th!
